    Tell us about your car

    It takes 2 minutes to apply online or by calling 0300-234-1000. We’ll take some basic information about your car, including the year, make, model and condition. We can accept almost any vehicle regardless of condition.

    Arrange a collection time

    Our local collection company will be in touch within 24 hours to schedule a convenient collection time. Your car can be collected as soon as that or the next day. Just have your vehicle documents and proof of ID ready. You’ll receive a temporary receipt as confirmation of vehicle collection.

    Receipt

    We get to work right away selling your car through our network of car auctions and resellers. This takes about 2-4 weeks as we ensure your car is sold for the best price possible. As soon as it sells, we’ll email you about your donation, and if you're a UK taxpayer, we’ll apply Gift Aid to boost your donation by 25%.

No! Just clean the car of any personal belongings and leave the keys and ownership document under the dashboard.
Kars4Kids can accept cars that are not running with ease. Simply give us your car's information by phone or online and our local towing partner will be in touch within 1 business day to schedule a free, convenient pickup.
When we sell the Vehicle, we will deduct a sales commission of £200 plus VAT, along with any agents’ or auctioneers’ fees, from the sale proceeds, and we will notify you of the amount. The remaining amount (“Net Sales Proceeds”) will be handled as follows: the first £1,000 will be donated to Kars4Kids on your behalf. If the Net Sales Proceeds exceed £1,000, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to donate the excess or have it returned to you. If you confirm that you do, or if you do not reply within 21 days, we will donate the Net Sales Proceeds to the Kars4Kids on your behalf.
No! We are so grateful for your car support we don’t charge a cent to pick your vehicle up.
We can collect your vehicle even if you don’t have a V5C. While it’s helpful to have, it’s not required – we’ll handle the details and make donating easy.
